Step Outline- Charlie

Here is our Step Outline for our music video. There are still some ideas that we might add to or change, but this is the general idea:

1.  Couple of seconds before the music starts- Long shot of inside a dance hall, lights are tuned on in cannon (0-5 secs)
2. Introduction- radio noise then "Ba ba ba da..." comes in- Band members slowly come into the shots tuning and playing their instruments. Cuts inbetween with long shots of dance couple walking into the middle of the dance floor (6-18 secs)
3. 1st Verse- Mid shot of main singer singing to the mic. Then Mid Shot of girl dancer wearing blue sequin dress. Close Up of main singer looking at the dance couple unimpressed followed by Mid Shot of dance couple laughing and smiling whilst dancing together (19-42secs)
4. Chorus- Black and White filter- Boy dancer lowers girl with support, then shot back to main singer. Then Close Up of the sequin dress (girls spinning around). Close up of main singer. Boy dancer lowers her again, shot of whole band playing. Close Up of boy and girls feet going a "Quick Step" sequence followed by a mid shot of the main singer again.(43-67 secs)
5. "Ba ba ba da..."- This section purely based on band playing with main singer(68-90 secs)
6. Verse 2- Back to colour- Mid Shot of couple dancing whilst looking into eachothers eyes, Close Up reaction of main singer getting annoyed. Dance couple then do a seductive dance with cut of reaction of singer again.(90-113 secs)
7. Chorus - Same as Step 4(113-124 secs)
8. Instrumental - Shots of guitarist playing and possibly band also tbc (125-147secs)
9. Chorus repeated - Colour- Long clips of couple dancing together, accompanied with short Close Up clips cutting between of main singers face turning to anger. Final Close Up position of dance couple, singer pushes mic stand down in anger, Mid Shot of him walking past the couple scourering at the dance couple. Long Shot of him walking towards the door. Long Shot of girl dance confussed and shouting at main singer, looks at boy dancer and runs off in same direction as singer, Extreme Long Shot of male dancer left alone in dance hall. Mid Shot of girls running out of hall entrance, followed by Long Shot of back of main singer walking away. Final shot Mid Shot of him walking with girl in the distance behind him. (148-216 secs).
