DIGIPAK research-Different Gear Still Speeding (Beady-eye)

The album cover is appropriate to the genre because it shows the band (on the back cover), which is a very common choice of cover art for indie bands, as they tend to promote themselves in the designs. And has a a very conceptual front cover, which is also a very common indie style cover.
The colouring of the covers are very washed out and gritty looking which is the kind of image you would expect form an indie band, and the clothes the band members are wearing are very casual and everyday. This also fits with the indie genre.
The fonts used are very unique, the band name being bold and in a very recognisable font, means that your attention is drawn to it, and it is memorable.
The setting for the back cover is typically indie, with an outside, 'deserted' feel to it which often features in indie videos.
This cover sells the band because it promotes the band memebers and is easily identifiable as an Indie album. It has very distinct elements that make it easy to tell which band the album belongs to and contains the name of the band on more than one part of the cover. Which also helps to promote the band.
