Images & logo: Arctic monkeys logo in the left hand side of the screen. This follows you with the links you can go to when you scroll up and down. Options to follow them on twitter and like them on facebook, showing they are close to their fans. This themed layout is followed throughout the website.

Genre: Like a lot of indie bands they have a simple colour scheme and use bold clear lettering the home page has no images showing that there not promoting themselves but there music. This is also shown by the fact that there latest music video is on their homepage and starts playing as soon as you enter the website.

New technology and links: Options such as facebook twitter show that there trying to appeal to a younger audience as younger people use those sites more than older audiences. The music player allows you to see their latest video release as soon as possible keeping fans up to date on their latest releases. Some videos are website exclusive meaning that by only on the internet would you be able to see these new videos, causing more interest over there music.

Colour and style: Bold and simple black and white, clean no imagery unless you go on the photos tab. Photos vary in style and colours make the photos more appealing

Written content: No heavy reading need basic info about tour dates latest news new releases etc nothing ‘story like’

Font and layout: Black bold letter big writing can be easily read

Target audience: 14-30 year olds mainly, the site is aimed towards that age group with the videos, facebook and twitter links. The photos also show this as they’re very indie and people of an older target
audience may not understand this genre and theme.
